Our Optometrists

Kylie Gough B.Optom(Hons)
Kylie studied Optometry at the University of New South Wales graduating, with Honours, in 1996. She then returned to her home city of Dubbo.

From 1997 to 1999 Kylie practiced in Perth and returned to Dubbo for a further four years before working as a locum across country NSW. During this time Kylie participated in an aid trip to Tanzania for a month, providing free eye care and spectacles to remote villagers west of Dodoma.

In 2004 she moved to the UK, working as Practice Support Manager for Allders Opticians 15 practices across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, before sitting the qualifying examinations and working in an Allders practice in Luton. On her return in 2007, Kylie was again working a locum until deciding to settle in the Nambucca Valley in early 2008. Her professional interests include eye disease, children’s vision and contact lenses.

Joanne graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales in 1989.
