Eyecare Plus San Remo offers Medicare bulk-billed eye testing, and provides comprehensive eye health checks for cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease - the four most common causes of blindness in Australia. This is made more accurate by using our latest state-of-the-art technology, including digital retinal photography and visual fields testing.
We have a wide selection of quality frames and sunglasses to suit all tastes and budgets, and we also offer no-gap prescription eyewear and contact lenses using our instant health fund claiming device on-site.
Our Optometrist
Ms Li Chen
B.Optom (Hons) UNSW
Li is our fully qualified optometrist who graduated with Bachelor of Optometry (First-class Honours) at the University of NSW 6 years ago.
She has a special interest in diseases of the eye and children's vision, and furthers her education in post-graduate studies in prescribing eye medications.
For 2 years, Li and her partner Paul travelled together across Australia in a motor-home as ambassadors for a community health initiative to raise the awareness of Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
The Vision Van initiative inspired Li and Paul to bring their expertise in eye care to regional communities, where more quality eye care is needed.
