About Us

Welcome to Eyecare Plus Werribee! Founded in 1979 by Tony van Aalst, we continue to deliver personalised eye care for our loyal patients in Werribee and its surrounds. We provide an alternative to the chain store eyecare model by delivering dedicated service and individualised care. In fact, we have won multiple Canstar awards in recognition of our exceptional eye care! No two people are the same and we would love to show you how we differ from the rest.

We combine the latest technology with a people-centred approach to conduct full scope eye testing and delivery of frames or contact lenses suitable for your lifestyle. What makes us unique is the decades of experience that our optometrists Christine and Diana bring to the consulting room, and they spend the time to communicate and explain the results of your eye examination.

You will find our practice to be a comfortable and relaxed environment and easy to access with ample free parking directly in front of the practice.

Come in at any time or book online. Sit down with our optometrists for a thorough consultation that includes a complete eye examination and discussion about your eye health. We monitor and detect signs of eye problems for early elimination including:

  • General optometry
  • Diabetic assessments
  • Macular degeneration and Glaucoma management.
  • Children’s vision including special needs
  • Dry eye management
  • Vision therapy and amblyopia management
  • Myopia control
  • Safety glasses
  • All contact lens fittings

As we are an independent practice you will find a wide range of interesting and unique optical frames and sunglasses you will not find elsewhere, so come in and try something new! We use specialist Japanese or European lenses for their exceptional optics and coatings.  All contact lens designs and brands are also available including ortho K contact lenses for management of myopia (short-sightedness). On the spot health fund rebates are provided for eyewear and contact lenses and Afterpay is available.

We service the following areas: Werribee, Wyndham, Cocoroc, Truganina, Point Cook, Manor Lakes, Wyndham Vale, Werribee South, Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Little River
