Eyecare Plus Gymea is an award-winning optometrist clinic that offers complete eye care solutions for you and your family. We provide eye tests, examinations, prescription glasses, prescription contact lenses, spectacle frames and eyewear.
Our Gymea practice is proud to accept all-optical health funds. If you are not sure if your health fund is applicable, please contact our Gymea branch via telephone or in-person.

Consultation fees
Medicare benefits are payable for most consultations. Some additional fees apply for services that are not yet covered by Medicare. Our staff will be pleased to explain these fees.
Veterans Affairs
Spectacles and contact lenses are provided at no cost for patients covered by Veterans Affairs. Our staff will be pleased to advise you on your entitlement.
Spectacles for the Disadvantaged
Often there are people with a need for spectacles but who are not able to afford the cost, or part of it. Some state governments provide limited assistance for people in need. Please talk to our staff and they will be pleased to explain the eligibility requirements and how to make an application.

Eyecare Plus Gymea is located at 85 Gymea Bay Rd., Gymea. We are conveniently situated around many shops including Gloria Jean's Coffees, Vinnies, Fruiticious, Endeavour Mutual Bank and more. Please call us on (02) 9526 2155 for any bookings or general enquiries.
There is a small free car parking space in front of Endeavour Mutual Bank along The Gymea Bay Rd. There is another parking space at Commuter Car Park which is 2 min walk away from Eyecare Plus Gymea and is accessible via South St.
Checkup Plus™ is more than just an eye test. Our optometrists take the time needed to give you a thorough eye examination. Following your Checkup Plus™ we will carefully explain the results and discuss our recommendations regarding any preventative or remedial care required.
