Spectacles and contact lenses are provided at no cost for patients covered by Veterans Affairs. Our staff will be pleased to advise you on your entitlement.

Often there are people with a need for spectacles but who are not able to afford the cost, or part of it. Some state governments provide limited assistance for people in need. Please talk to our staff and they will be pleased to explain the eligibility requirements and how to make an application.

Where is Eyecare Plus Bankstown located?

Conveniently located inside of the Bankstown Central Shopping Centre, our Eyecare Plus Bankstown clinic is situated next to Big W. There are plenty of entertainment and retail shops such as Oliver Brown Cafe, Myer, Crunch Fitness, Priceline Pharmacy, Dan Murphy’s and much more.


How to best travel to Eyecare Plus Bankstown?

Our Bankstown practice can be accessed via train, bus and car. The clinic is a short 8 minute walk from the Bankstown train station. The 911, M90, M91 or M92 buses also have routes that are nearby the Bankstown Central Shopping Centre. The centre offers over 3,000 car spaces that are accessible from Stacey Street, Jacob Street, Rickard Road, Lady Cutler Avenue and North Terrace. There are elevators, and travelators from the car parks to access the centre.
