Low vision services
JUNIC Low vision services aims to provide people with low vision the opportunity to understand their condition better and help them to learn the use of different simple low vision devices available in order to achieve a life of independence. Following a complete evaluation by our optometrist, depending on the patient’s requirements, different optical and non-optical devices/ services are prescribed for various tasks. These can be undertaken at the clinic, home or school.
Medicare benefits are payable for some consultations. Some additional fees apply for services that are not yet covered by Medicare. Our staff will be pleased to explain these fees.
