Spectacles and contact lenses are provided at no cost for patients covered by Veterans Affairs. Our staff will be pleased to advise you on your entitlement.

Spectacles for the Disadvantaged

Often there are people with a need for spectacles but who are not able to afford the cost, or part of it. Some state governments provide limited assistance for people in need. Please talk to our staff and they will be pleased to explain the eligibility requirements and how to make an application.

Where is Eyecare Plus Gatton located?

Eyecare Plus Gatton is located at 39 William St, Gatton. We are situated opposite Gatton State School. We are located in the first house after the Coles complex on the corner of William Street and Ann Street. Please call us on (07) 5462 3222 for any bookings or general enquiries.


How to best travel to Eyecare Plus Gatton?

We have off-street parking (including a disabled parking space) available behind the practice. Access to this is via Ann Street. Please note that Ann Street is one way and can be reached via Hood Street off Cochrane Street. Parking is also available on William Street but can be busy during school drop-off and pick-up times.


What is Eyecare Plus – Checkup Plus™?

Checkup Plus™ is more than just an eye test. Our optometrists take the time needed to give you a thorough eye examination. Following your Checkup Plus™ we will carefully explain the results and discuss our recommendations regarding any preventative or remedial care required.


How much does an eye test cost?
